《饥饿游戏》导演弗朗西斯·劳伦斯联手派拉蒙 科幻小说《红崛起》将搬上大银幕
据《好莱坞报道者》独家报道，曾执导《饥饿游戏》系列的导演弗朗西斯·劳伦斯（Francis Lawrence）将与派拉蒙影业合作，把皮尔斯·布朗（Pierce Brown）的科幻小说《红崛起》（Red Rising）改编为电影。
《红崛起》是布朗2014年出版的处女作，也是同名系列的第一部。故事设定在火星：社会按颜色划分为森严的等级，底层的「红人」矿工达罗（Darrow）潜入统治阶层「金人」之中，谋求推翻压迫秩序。系列后续作品多次登上畅销榜，在全球积累了大批读者。
劳伦斯以执导《饥饿游戏：星火燎原》及《嘲笑鸟》上下集、《我是传奇》《康斯坦丁》等片闻名，近年还执导了《饥饿游戏》前传《鸣鸟与蛇之歌》。派拉蒙与劳伦斯的这次合作使这部筹备多年的改编计划再进一步，选角与开拍时间尚未公布。

Francis Lawrence, Paramount Team for 'Red Rising' Movie Adaptation
Francis Lawrence, the director behind The Hunger Games sequels, is teaming with Paramount Pictures to adapt Pierce Brown's science-fiction novel Red Rising as a feature film, The Hollywood Reporter said in an exclusive report.
Red Rising, Brown's 2014 debut and the first book in his saga, is set on Mars, where society is divided into a rigid color-coded caste system. Darrow, a lowborn 'Red' miner, infiltrates the ruling 'Golds' to bring down the order that oppresses his people. The series has become a best-selling franchise with a global readership.
Lawrence directed The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and both Mockingjay films, as well as I Am Legend and Constantine, and more recently the prequel The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. Casting and production dates for Red Rising have not been announced.
