圣巴巴拉——加州老龄部（California Department of Aging，CDA）已指定家庭服务机构（Family Service Agency，FSA）为第17规划服务区（Planning and Service Area 17）的地区老龄机构（Area Agency on Aging，AAA），服务范围涵盖圣路易斯奥比斯波县（San Luis Obispo）与圣巴巴拉县（Santa Barbara），即时生效。

California Department of Aging Names Family Service Agency as Area Agency on Aging for San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties
SANTA BARBARA — The California Department of Aging (CDA) has designated Family Service Agency (FSA) as the regional Area Agency on Aging (AAA) for Planning and Service Area 17, which encompasses San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara counties, effective immediately.
FSA will assume full programmatic, fiscal and administrative coordination for critical older adult and caregiver services under Title III of the Older Americans Act, working closely with state officials, local community partners and existing service providers to ensure service stability. The designation follows a CDA request for proposals (SLO-2627-17); the agreement term runs from October 1, 2026 through June 30, 2029.
FSA program manager Megan Young said the Area Agency on Aging serves as a starting point for finding the right support for an older adult, coordinating services that support aging and help family caregivers manage the challenges of caregiving.
