中国驻美大使谢锋在国庆77周年招待会上致辞：2026年是中美关系「大年」
9月30日晚，中国驻美国大使馆在华盛顿举行庆祝中华人民共和国成立77周年招待会，800多位来宾出席，包括美国联邦参议员 Steve Daines、白宫、美国国务院与美国商务部的代表，以及外国驻美外交使节、在美华侨华人、中资机构与留学生代表。中国驻美国大使谢锋在招待会上致辞。
谢锋表示，2026年是中美关系的「大年」：习近平主席时隔11年对美国进行国事访问，两国元首半年内实现互访，创造了中美交往的历史，具有里程碑意义。
谢锋回顾说，两国元首多次通话与会晤，为中美关系领航定向、拓展合作。今年是中国「十五五」规划开局之年，中国将继续推进高质量发展、扩大高水平对外开放，为包括美国在内的各国提供机遇。他还表示，年底前两国元首有望在深圳、迈阿密两度聚首。
招待会上，来自北京的舞蹈演员与美国青年学生同台演出，美国青少年用中文演唱了歌曲。

Chinese Ambassador Xie Feng Hosts National Day Reception in Washington: 2026 Is a Landmark Year for China-U.S. Relations
On the evening of September 30, the Chinese Embassy in the United States hosted a reception in Washington marking the 77th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. More than 800 guests attended, including U.S. Senator Steve Daines, representatives of the White House, the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Commerce, foreign diplomats in the United States, and representatives of Chinese communities, Chinese-funded institutions and Chinese students in the United States. Chinese Ambassador to the United States Xie Feng delivered remarks.
Xie said 2026 has been a landmark year for China-U.S. relations: President Xi Jinping paid a state visit to the United States, his first in 11 years, and the two heads of state will have exchanged visits within half a year — a milestone in the history of bilateral exchanges.
He said the two presidents' repeated calls and meetings have charted the course for bilateral relations and expanded cooperation. With 2026 the opening year of China's 15th Five-Year Plan, he said, China will continue high-quality development and high-standard opening up, offering opportunities to the United States and other countries. He added that the two leaders are expected to meet twice more before year-end, in Shenzhen and in Miami.
Dancers from Beijing performed alongside American students at the reception, and American teenagers sang songs in Chinese.
