医疗专机在费城东北部坠毁：机上6人全部遇难、地面1人死亡

Air Ambulance Crashes in Northeast Philadelphia: All Six Aboard and One Person on the Ground Killed
At about 6:07 p.m. Eastern time on January 31, 2025, a Learjet 55 air ambulance crashed into a residential and commercial area shortly after departing Northeast Philadelphia Airport in Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania. All six people aboard were killed, one person on the ground was killed, and many others were injured.
According to National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) accident records, the airplane was registered in Mexico as XA-UCI, call sign MTS056, and was operated by Med Jets, doing business as Jet Rescue Air Ambulance. It departed Runway 24 at Northeast Philadelphia Airport at about 6:06 p.m., bound for Springfield-Branson National Airport in Missouri. Aboard were two pilots, two medical crewmembers and two passengers.
The two passengers were a pediatric patient who had received care at Shriners Children's Philadelphia and her mother, who were being flown back to their home country of Mexico on the contracted air ambulance after her treatment. The operator said that night that it could not confirm any survivors and that no names would be released until families had been notified.
Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker said on February 1 that the person killed on the ground had been inside a car, and that the confirmed toll at that point was seven dead and 19 injured. The crash set off a large fire; NTSB records show three houses and six vehicles were damaged by fire, and about 20 people were initially hospitalized.
The NTSB is leading the investigation. This story records the official account from the first two days after the crash; the cause was then still under investigation and is not stated here, and later investigative findings are not written back into this story.
