(GSM 据 That Oregon Life 报道)
Oregon Governor's Race Campaigns Have Raised $33 Million: Kotek at $17.82 Million, Drazan at $15.19 Million as Ballots Go Out
Oregon's race for governor has entered the ballot-return stage. An analysis of state campaign finance records by Portland Civic Lab puts the two leading campaigns' combined cash fundraising since January 2025 at more than $33 million, according to reporting published on October 22 as voters begin returning ballots.
Democratic Governor Tina Kotek's campaign has raised $17.82 million and Republican challenger Christine Drazan's has raised $15.19 million, through the latest contributions in the lab's October 20 data. The big-donor profiles differ: 23 sources gave Kotek $100,000 or more each, together supplying 62 percent of her cash, while 30 sources crossed that threshold for Drazan, supplying 56 percent of hers. Geographically, 86 percent of Drazan's named money is attributed to Oregon addresses, compared with 53 percent for Kotek, whose total includes $4.36 million from Washington, D.C., where national unions and the Democratic Governors Association have offices.
On spending, Drazan's committee has reported $11.28 million in payments and Kotek's $5.32 million, though Kotek's payment records stop on October 12; broadcast advertising is the biggest identified expense for both. The Oregon Secretary of State says counties began mailing ballots on October 14, recommends returning them by mail by October 27, or at an official drop box by 8 p.m. on Election Day, November 3. Under laws passed in 2024 and 2026, new contribution limits take effect on January 1, 2027, including a $3,300 per-election limit on an individual's contribution to a candidate committee, making this governor's race the last before the limits begin.
