Kramers 书店50周年今晚庆祝：市长 Muriel Bowser 将到场致辞
华盛顿特区市长 Muriel Bowser 今晚7点30分将出席 Dupont Circle 地标书店 Kramers 的50周年庆祝活动并发表讲话。根据市长办公室10月22日公布的公开行程，活动地点为 1517 Connecticut Ave NW 的 Kramers 书店，开放媒体采访，行程说明称活动旨在表彰 Kramers 对特区文学与文化社区的长期贡献。
Kramers 创办于1976年，由 Bill Kramer、Henry Posner 与 David Tenney 创立，最初名为 Kramerbooks，后增设咖啡馆，是美国最早在书店内设咖啡馆的书店之一。2016年，三位创办人将书店售予 Steve Salis。书店集书店、咖啡馆、餐厅与酒吧于一体，数十年来一直是 Dupont Circle 社区的文化聚点。

Kramers Bookstore Marks 50 Years Tonight: Mayor Muriel Bowser to Deliver Remarks
Washington, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser will attend and deliver remarks at the 50th anniversary celebration of Kramers, the landmark Dupont Circle bookstore, at 7:30 p.m. tonight. According to the mayor's public calendar for October 22, the event at Kramers, 1517 Connecticut Ave NW, is open to the press and recognizes the store's longstanding contributions to the District's literary and cultural community.
Kramers was founded in 1976 by Bill Kramer, Henry Posner and David Tenney as Kramerbooks. It soon added a cafe and became one of the first bookstores in the United States to feature one. The founders sold the store to Steve Salis in 2016. Combining a bookstore, cafe, restaurant and bar, Kramers has been a cultural gathering place in Dupont Circle for five decades.
