Bears Host Patriots Tonight: RB Kyle Monangai Ruled Out, RG Jonah Jackson Cleared to Start
Soldier Field in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, hosts Week 7 Thursday Night Football tonight: the Chicago Bears face the New England Patriots at 7:15 p.m. CT, with national streaming on Prime Video. It is the first of three straight prime-time games for Chicago, which can improve to 5-2 with a win. New England arrives on a three-game winning streak, and the quarterback matchup between Caleb Williams and Drake Maye headlines the night.
The Bears' final injury report, released October 21, ruled out running back Kyle Monangai (thumb/toe) and linebacker Jack Sanborn (concussion). Linebacker T.J. Edwards (hamstring) is doubtful, and cornerback Tyrique Stevenson (hip) is questionable. The team held walkthroughs all week, so participation levels are estimates.
The boost comes on the offensive line: right guard Jonah Jackson (hip/quad), a full participant in Wednesday's walkthrough, was removed from the injury report and will start. The forecast for kickoff at Soldier Field is clear skies, around 60 degrees and light winds. (GSM, reporting from Bears Wire)
