Bruins Sign Forward Marat Khusnutdinov to Three-Year, $11.85 Million Extension
The Boston Bruins announced on Wednesday, October 21, that they have signed 24-year-old forward Marat Khusnutdinov to a three-year contract extension worth $11.85 million. The deal carries an average annual value of $3.95 million and keeps him with the Bruins through the 2029-30 season.
According to NESN, Khusnutdinov is in the final season of his current contract, which carries a cap hit of just $925,000, and had been set to become a restricted free agent with arbitration rights in July 2027. The extension is a major raise after the best offensive campaign of his NHL career: in 2025-26 he set career highs with 15 goals and 33 points in 77 games.
