FBI Ten Most Wanted: $1 Million Minimum Rewards — How to Report a Sighting
The FBI's Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list, created in 1950, enlists the public in capturing dangerous fugitives. As of this October, 543 people have appeared on the list; 504 have been captured or located, about a third thanks to public tips. Since March 2026, the minimum reward for any fugitive on the list stands at $1 million (up from $250,000), paid for information directly leading to an arrest.
