南加州五县迎极端高温：周六最热，谷地直逼107华氏度
美国国家气象局（NWS）已对南加州大部地区发布极端高温警告，涵盖洛杉矶、橙县、河滨、圣贝纳迪诺和圣迭戈五县，有效期为10月2日（周五）上午10时至10月8日（周四）晚间8时。沿海地区白天最高温在90多华氏度，内陆谷地可达107华氏度（约41.7摄氏度）。
气象部门预计，周六（10月3日）将是本轮高温最热的一天，多地气温比常年同期高出15至20度；周日稍有回落，但下周中之前仍持续偏热，夜间低温也降不下来。内陆帝国、Temecula一带周末也将冲上三位数高温。加州职业安全与健康管理局（Cal/OSHA）10月2日提醒所有雇主落实防暑措施，为户外员工提供阴凉休息处、饮水和休息时间。
居民应避免在正午前后进行户外活动，及时补水，并照看好老人、儿童和宠物；如出现头晕、恶心等中暑症状，应立即求助。
Extreme Heat Blankets Southern California's Five Counties; Valleys to Near 107°F on Saturday
The National Weather Service has issued an extreme heat warning across much of Southern California — covering Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and San Diego counties — from 10 a.m. Friday, October 2 through 8 p.m. Thursday, October 8. Coastal areas will top out in the 90s, while inland valleys could reach 107°F (about 41.7°C).
Forecasters expect Saturday, October 3 to be the hottest day of the event, running 15 to 20 degrees above normal; temperatures ease only slightly Sunday and stay elevated into midweek, with warm overnight lows offering little relief. The Inland Empire and the Temecula area will also hit triple digits over the weekend. Cal/OSHA reminded employers on October 2 to provide shade, water and rest breaks for outdoor workers.
Residents should avoid midday outdoor activity, stay hydrated and check on seniors, children and pets, and seek help immediately if symptoms of heat illness appear.
