加州拟发行科研债券 纽森金门大桥签署法案交选民公投
加州州长纽森在金门大桥签署科研债券法案，拟发行约75亿美元债券投入科研与科学发展，最终是否发行将交由加州选民投票决定。
纽森在讲话中回顾了上世纪30年代大萧条时期，加州选民投票通过金门大桥债券的历史，称今天的科研债券同样是“为加州未来投资”。他表示，加州之所以成为美国经济的支柱，正因为持续投资未来。
他同时将这一举措与特朗普政府削减科研经费的做法对比，称加州要“加倍下注”科研创新。债券若获选民通过，将为加州高校与科研机构提供长期资金支持。
Newsom Signs Research Bond Bill at Golden Gate Bridge, Sends It to Voters
Governor Newsom signed a research bond bill at the Golden Gate Bridge, proposing roughly $7.5 billion in bonds for research and science, to be decided by California voters.
Newsom recalled how voters approved the Golden Gate Bridge bond during the Great Depression, calling the research bond an investment in California's future. He contrasted the move with the Trump administration's research funding cuts, saying California will "double down" on science and innovation.
