拉梅萨市10月24日办免费碎纸与电子废弃物回收活动 市政厅旁停车场先到先得
据拉梅萨市政府10月13日公告，该市将于10月24日（周六）上午9时至中午12时，在市政厅旁停车场（8130 Allison Avenue, La Mesa）举办免费碎纸与回收活动，面向拉梅萨居民，无需预约、先到先得。
活动内容包括：每户居民可携带最多2个银行家纸箱（10x12x15英寸）的文件，由专业公司现场碎毁；现场回收电子废弃物；Goodwill接收家庭物品捐赠；另设自助堆肥与覆盖物领取区，参加者需自备结实的容器、铲子，货车车厢需铺防水布。本次活动不收大件家具与危险废弃物。
市政府表示，该活动由EDCO提供支持。活动传单所列咨询电话为(619) 287-7555。
La Mesa to Host Free Paper Shredding and E-Waste Event on October 24 at City Hall Parking Lot
The City of La Mesa announced on October 13 that it will host a free paper shredding and recycling event for La Mesa residents on Saturday, October 24, from 9 a.m. to noon, in the parking lot next to City Hall at 8130 Allison Avenue, La Mesa. No appointment is necessary, and services are first come, first served.
Each La Mesa household may bring up to two banker's boxes (10x12x15 inches) of paper for secure on-site shredding by a professional company. The event also includes electronic-waste drop-off, household-item donations to Goodwill, and a self-serve compost and mulch pile, for which participants should bring sturdy containers, a shovel and a tarp for truck beds. Bulky furniture and hazardous waste will not be accepted.
The city said the event is supported by EDCO. The event flyer lists (619) 287-7555 for questions.
