萨克拉门托县男子冒充49人队球员行骗被起诉：涉共谋电信欺诈 已首次出庭
美国司法部10月14日宣布，加利福尼亚州萨克拉门托县安特洛普（Antelope）35岁男子大杰恩·勒夫（Daejon Love）被俄勒冈州地区联邦大陪审团起诉一项共谋实施电信欺诈（conspiracy to commit wire fraud）罪名。司法部的新闻稿指，勒夫此前谎称自己是旧金山49人队（San Francisco 49ers）球员、冒充该球队成员，欺骗受害人向其汇款。
根据起诉书，勒夫被指在2025年3月至2026年2月期间，与他人共谋一项欺诈计划，谎称自己是旧金山49人队球员，以此说服受害人把钱汇给自己。
勒夫已于10月14日在加州东区联邦地区法院首次出庭（initial appearance），并被下令还押候审。他的审判目前定于2026年12月15日在俄勒冈州波特兰开始。
司法部表示，若共谋实施电信欺诈罪名成立，勒夫将面临最高20年联邦监禁。司法部同时提醒公众，起诉书仅是控罪文件，被告在法庭证明有罪之前均被推定无罪。
本案由联邦调查局（FBI）调查，俄勒冈州地区助理检察官凯瑟琳·德·维利耶（Katherine de Villiers）负责起诉。
Sacramento County Man Posing as San Francisco 49er Indicted for Conspiracy to Commit Wire Fraud, Makes Initial Court Appearance
The U.S. Department of Justice announced on October 14 that Daejon Love, 35, of Antelope, in Sacramento County, California, has been charged by an Oregon federal grand jury with conspiracy to commit wire fraud. According to the Department's release, Love falsely claimed to be a player for the San Francisco 49ers and impersonated a member of the team to defraud victims into sending him money.
According to the indictment, from March 2025 through February 2026 Love conspired with others in a scheme to defraud in which he falsely claimed to be a San Francisco 49ers player in order to convince victims to send him money.
Love made his initial appearance in federal court in the Eastern District of California on October 14 and was ordered detained pending further proceedings. His trial is currently scheduled to begin on December 15, 2026, in Portland, Oregon.
The Department said conspiracy to commit wire fraud carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in federal prison. It also noted that an indictment is only an accusation and that a defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
The case was investigated by the FBI and is being prosecuted by Katherine de Villiers, Assistant U.S. Attorney for the District of Oregon.
