博伊西Albertsons启动全面业务评估 合并告吹后向Kroger索赔逾80亿美元
据超市行业媒体Supermarket News 10月13日报道，总部位于爱达荷州博伊西的连锁超市Albertsons公司当日随季度财报宣布，启动一项全面业务评估，以审视公司的战略与运营方向。
报道称，公司季度营收出现下滑，此次评估将覆盖其门店网络与业务结构。与此同时，Albertsons正就此前告吹的合并交易向Kroger公司索赔逾80亿美元，双方纠纷仍在进行中。
Albertsons与Kroger的合并计划此前因监管诉讼被叫停，交易终止后，两家公司围绕违约与赔偿问题互相提起诉讼。
Albertsons是总部位于博伊西的大型食品零售企业，在全美多州经营超市门店，公司表示评估结果将适时对外公布。
Boise-Based Albertsons Launches Business Review, Seeks Over $8 Billion From Kroger
Albertsons Companies, the supermarket chain headquartered in Boise, Idaho, announced on Oct. 13 alongside its quarterly results that it is launching a comprehensive review of its business, according to trade publication Supermarket News.
The report said the company's revenue declined in the quarter and that the review will cover its store network and business structure. Separately, Albertsons is seeking more than $8 billion from Kroger in connection with their failed merger, and the dispute between the two companies is ongoing.
The Albertsons–Kroger merger was halted earlier following regulatory litigation, and after the deal collapsed the two sides sued each other over breach and damages claims.
Albertsons is a major food retailer based in Boise with supermarket stores across the United States. The company said findings from the review will be announced in due course.
