园林市警局10月24日办处方药回收日 市民可匿名交回过期药品
橙县园林市警察局将于10月24日（周六）上午10时至下午2时在警局总部（11301 Acacia Parkway, Garden Grove）举办处方药回收活动，市民可免费、匿名交回家中过期或不再需要的药品。
市府表示，回收点接收药片与贴剂，不接收液体药品与针具。此次活动与美国缉毒局（DEA）主办的全国处方药回收日同步举行。
DEA全国处方药回收日今年为第31届，全美有4,300多个执法机构伙伴参与、设有4,400多处回收点，旨在让居民安全处置闲置处方药。
Garden Grove Police to Host Prescription Drug Take Back Event on Oct. 24
The Garden Grove Police Department will host a prescription drug take-back event on Saturday, October 24, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at police headquarters, 11301 Acacia Parkway in Garden Grove, where residents can drop off expired or unwanted medication free of charge and anonymously.
The city said the site will accept pills and patches; liquids and sharps will not be accepted. The event is held in conjunction with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration's National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.
Now in its 31st edition, the DEA's nationwide event involves more than 4,300 law enforcement partners and over 4,400 collection sites, offering residents a safe way to dispose of unneeded prescription drugs.
