NVIDIA Announces Five-Year, $250 Million Compute Donation for UK AI Safety Research
GlobeNewswire reported from London on October 14 that NVIDIA announced a five-year, US$250 million donation of computing resources, US$50 million per year, to support UK research into agentic AI safety and security, backing BOLD, SOFAIR, Imperial College London and the wider research community. NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang and UK AI Minister Kanishka Narayan commented on the initiative. NVIDIA said the donation is intended to provide large-scale compute for AI safety research in the United Kingdom.
