荷兰VDL集团投资7700万美元扩建佐治亚霍尔县工厂 新增约120个岗位
佐治亚州州长布赖恩·坎普10月13日宣布，荷兰机械工程与设备制造商VDL集团将在未来数年投资约7700万美元，扩建其在霍尔县的工厂，新增约120个就业岗位。
VDL旗下VDL Industries Gainesville位于奥克伍德市阿罗哈路5459号，目前在霍尔县雇用约70名员工，业务涵盖钣金加工、焊接、机械加工与洁净室系统集成，服务半导体、食品科技、交通与基础设施等行业。公司计划买下目前租用的厂房并扩建，新增大型铣削能力并扩大洁净室空间。
据当地媒体报道，扩建工程预计2028年完工，招聘将于2026年第四季度启动，岗位包括机加工、焊接、工程、行政、维修与管理等。
坎普表示，企业持续选择在佐治亚扩大投资，得益于该州的营商环境与人才供给。VDL集团总裁兼首席执行官威廉·范德莱格特表示，佐治亚连接全美市场的区位对高科技企业具有吸引力。
Dutch Firm VDL Groep to Invest $77 Million Expanding Hall County Plant, Adding 120 Jobs
Gov. Brian Kemp announced Oct. 13 that VDL Groep, a Netherlands-based mechanical engineering and equipment manufacturer, will invest an estimated $77 million over the next several years to expand its Hall County operation, creating about 120 new jobs.
VDL Industries Gainesville, located at 5459 Aloha Way in Oakwood, currently employs about 70 people in Hall County. The company performs sheet-metal fabrication, welding, machining and cleanroom system integration for the semiconductor, food technology, mobility and infrastructure sectors, and plans to buy and expand the facility it now leases, adding large-milling capacity and more cleanroom space.
Local reports said construction is expected to finish in 2028, with hiring to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026 for positions in machining, welding, engineering, administration, maintenance and management.
Kemp said companies keep expanding in Georgia because of its business climate and workforce. VDL Groep President and CEO Willem van der Leegte said Georgia's connectivity to the entire U.S. market makes it an attractive base for high-tech companies.
