委内瑞拉国家石油公司定下目标：年底前签满105份合同 2027年底产量升至150万桶/日

Venezuela is looking to sign 105 oil contracts by the end of the year, the head of state-run oil company PDVSA, Hector Obregon, said on October 9 during a panel at a business event in Caracas, Reuters reported. The country has already signed 61 contracts and has 44 pending, and some 70 percent of the contracts are for green, or new, fields. "The objective is to close 105 definitive contracts signed before December 2026," Obregon said.
Obregon said the country's oil production will reach 1.5 million barrels per day by the close of 2027, up from 1.2 million bpd currently. PDVSA's refineries, where fires, power interruptions and outages are common, are processing 350,000 bpd, which he said was enough to supply the domestic market with gasoline even as demand grows alongside economic growth; the company hopes to raise that figure to 500,000 or 600,000 bpd next year. He added that PDVSA is restarting its Cardón refinery after a fire earlier that week.
Since the January ouster of President Nicolás Maduro, Venezuela has been reopening its energy sector to foreign investment with the backing of U.S. President Donald Trump's administration. Acting President Delcy Rodríguez had previously told the Fedecámaras business federation assembly that PDVSA had signed 61 agreements on oil, gas and petrochemicals, making the 105-contract target the latest quantified marker of the reopening.
