加拿大央行行长麦克勒姆：股市对人工智能的热情可能过头 称市场看起来承压
据道琼斯通讯社10月14日报道，加拿大银行行长蒂夫·麦克勒姆在泰国曼谷出席国际金融协会会议时表示，股市对人工智能的热情可能已经过头，股市在他看来“看起来承压”。
麦克勒姆说，央行行长的职责不是提供投资建议，但他认为人工智能将带来变革，同时也可能是一次颠覆性的转型。
谈及通胀时，麦克勒姆表示，他担心能源价格可能继续上涨并更广泛地传导至其他价格。他说，中东战争对全球经济的影响迄今小于最初担心的程度，部分原因是包括中国在内的国家动用了储备，但他同时表示，战略储备只能释放有限次数。
Bank of Canada Governor Macklem Says Stock Market Enthusiasm About AI May Have Gone Too Far
Dow Jones Newswires reported on October 14 that Bank of Canada Governor Tiff Macklem, speaking at an Institute of International Finance conference in Bangkok, Thailand, said the stock market's enthusiasm about artificial intelligence may have gone too far and that equity markets 'look stressed.'
Macklem said it was not the job of central bankers to give investment advice, but that AI will be transformative while the transition could be disruptive.
On inflation, Macklem said he was concerned that energy prices could keep rising and affect other prices more broadly. He said the impact of the Middle East wars on the global economy has been less significant than initially feared, partly because countries including China tapped reserves, while noting that strategic reserves can only be released so many times.
