Governor Evers Announces $6.6 Million in Grants to Train Over 3,800 Wisconsin Workers
Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers, together with the Department of Workforce Development (DWD), announced on October 13 $6.6 million in new grants to train more than 3,800 Wisconsin workers for high-demand careers. The grants, awarded through the Wisconsin Fast Forward program, will support training partnerships between employers and educational institutions across the state. "Investing in our workforce is investing in Wisconsin's future," Evers said. "These grants will help thousands of workers gain the skills they need for goodpaying jobs while helping employers find the talent they need to grow."
