其中最具实质意义的是清理无家可归者营地新条例的二读与终读：该条例9月29日一读以3比1（1人缺席）通过，若通过将于30天后生效。同意日历事项通常一并表决、无需辩论。
Twentynine Palms: City Council takes up second reading of homeless encampment ordinance on October 13
The Twentynine Palms City Council met on October 13 at 6 p.m. at City Hall, 6136 Adobe Road, with a short agenda: no public hearings or discussion items, and only two Consent Calendar items requiring a vote.
The most consequential was the second and final reading of the city's new ordinance on clearing homeless encampments. The ordinance passed its first reading on September 29 by a 3-1-1 vote and, if adopted, takes effect 30 days later. Consent Calendar items are normally approved together in one motion without debate.
