Rancho Palos Verdes Adds Pumpkin Decorating Party on Oct. 29 at Eastview Park
The City of Rancho Palos Verdes has announced a new pumpkin decorating party at Eastview Park, 1700 Westmont Dr., on Thursday, October 29 at 4:00 p.m., an after-school activity run by the city's Recreation and Parks Department. The city said each participant will be provided a pumpkin, along with stickers, paint and glitter, to decorate; pumpkins are free on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last, and the activity is non-carving. With participants' permission, decorated pumpkins may be left on display for the Howl-O-Ween event that follows. That weekend, the city's annual Howl-O-Ween Dog Paw-Rade will be held on Saturday, October 31 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Eastview Dog Park (announced earlier by the city and reported by GSM on October 8): residents can bring their dogs in costume for the paw-rade, with a photo booth on site and goodie bags for dressed-up dogs.
