佐治亚州六旗乐园「歌利亚」过山车致命事故：1死4伤，警方介入调查
10月12日下午约3点58分，位于亚特兰大郊外科布县的佐治亚六旗乐园发生致命事故：一名男子从「歌利亚」（Goliath）过山车上坠落身亡，另有多人受伤。科布县警察局向《今日美国》证实，一人死亡、数人受伤，警方已介入调查事故原因。
据亚特兰大WSB电视台和11 Alive电视台报道，目击者称这名男子在乘坐过程中被甩出车厢，坠落时三次撞击过山车轨道结构；另有4名游客受伤。事发后，滞留在高空的乘客被逐批疏散，乐园发表声明称「对今日发生的游客事故深感悲痛」，并表示正全力配合警方调查，出于对家属隐私的尊重暂不公布更多细节。

Man Dies After Fall From Goliath Roller Coaster at Six Flags Over Georgia; Four Others Injured
AUSTELL, Ga. — A man died after falling from the Goliath roller coaster at Six Flags Over Georgia in Cobb County, outside Atlanta, at about 3:58 p.m. on Oct. 12, and several other guests were injured. The Cobb County Police Department confirmed to USA TODAY that one person died and several were hurt, and police are investigating the cause.
Atlanta stations WSB and 11 Alive reported that witnesses said the man was ejected from his car and struck the ride structure three times as he fell; four other guests were injured. Riders stranded on the coaster were evacuated in groups. Six Flags said it was “deeply saddened by the guest incident at our park today,” is cooperating fully with authorities, and would not release further details out of respect for the family's privacy.
Goliath, which opened in 2006, stands 200 feet tall and reaches speeds of 70 mph, making it one of the park's signature attractions. The cause of the accident has not been announced, and the investigation is ongoing.
