康涅狄格州州长内德·拉蒙特10月13日宣布，温莎洛克斯（Windsor Locks）新火车站正式启用——这是提升康州中部哈特福德线（Hartford Line）铁路服务的一个重要里程碑。
新站设有高站台、完善的无障碍设施与现代化的乘客设施，将支持哈特福德线加密班次；该线路连接纽黑文、哈特福德与马萨诸塞州斯普林菲尔德。拉蒙特说："投资铁路基础设施就是投资康涅狄格的未来。新的温莎洛克斯站将为居民提供更快、更可靠的连接，通往全地区的工作、教育与机会。"
Connecticut Opens New Windsor Locks Train Station, Expanding Hartford Line Service
Connecticut Governor Ned Lamont announced on October 13 the grand opening of the new Windsor Locks train station, a milestone supporting expanded rail service in central Connecticut along the Hartford Line. The new station features high-level platforms, improved accessibility and modern amenities, and supports increased service frequency on the Hartford Line, which connects New Haven, Hartford and Springfield, Massachusetts. "Investing in rail infrastructure is investing in Connecticut's future," Lamont said. "The new Windsor Locks station will provide residents with faster, more reliable connections to jobs, education, and opportunity throughout the region."
