科洛纳市市长迎接2026—2027届市长青年理事会成员：本地高中生开启一年市政参与
科洛纳市（Corona）市府官网10月12日发布消息，市长雅克·卡西拉斯（Jacque Casillas）迎接2026—2027学年市长青年理事会（Mayor's Youth Council）成员。市长青年理事会是科洛纳市面向本地高中生的市政参与项目，市府称设立该理事会是让本市青少年就社区事务提供意见，并增进对地方政府运作的了解。成员在一年任期内将进一步认识本市社区、与民选官员会面讨论领导力议题，并就多项议题代表青少年发声。据市府今年8月13日发布的招募公告，申请资格为就读于Centennial高中、Corona高中、Santiago高中、Lee Pollard高中、Orange Grove高中或科洛纳市其他公立、私立高中的学生，须为科洛纳市居民，累计平均成绩（GPA）不低于2.0，并对领导力、政府与社区服务有兴趣；申请已于8月31日截止，收件人为市经理助理Melanie Franceschini。（来源：科洛纳市政府官网新闻，2026年10月12日；市长青年理事会招募公告，2026年8月13日）
Corona Mayor Casillas Welcomes the 2026–2027 Mayor's Youth Council
The City of Corona announced on its official website on Oct. 12 that Mayor Jacque Casillas has welcomed the members of the 2026–2027 Mayor's Youth Council. According to the city, the Mayor's Youth Council was created to enable Corona youth to provide input on community decisions and gain an awareness of local government. Over the course of the year, members will learn more about their community, meet elected officials to discuss leadership, and represent the youth perspective on a variety of issues. Under the city's recruitment notice published Aug. 13, eligible applicants were students at Centennial High, Corona High, Santiago High, Lee Pollard High, Orange Grove High, or other public or private high schools in Corona; applicants had to be Corona residents with a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above and an interest in leadership, government and community service. Applications were due Aug. 31 to Melanie Franceschini, Assistant to the City Manager.
