尼德尔斯：越野车试点与66号公路百年庆助力旅游，市长发布市情咨文
尼德尔斯市长在市情咨文中宣布两项旅游举措：越野车试点项目允许越野车在指定街道行驶，全程9.2英里，方便骑行者前往周边土地管理局步道；同时凭借T-Mobile 5万美元拨款建设66号公路门户拱门，迎接11月百年庆活动。
试点由州众议员冈萨雷斯提出的AB1756法案授权，州长已签署延长试点期。
Needles: Off-highway vehicle pilot and Route 66 centennial aim to boost tourism, mayor says in State of the City
In her State of the City address, the mayor of Needles highlighted two tourism initiatives: an off-highway vehicle pilot program allowing UTVs on designated streets along a 9.2-mile route, giving riders access to surrounding Bureau of Land Management trails; and a Route 66 gateway arch funded by a $50,000 T-Mobile grant ahead of November centennial events.
The pilot is authorized by Assembly Bill 1756, carried by Assemblymember Jeff Gonzalez, which the governor has signed to extend the pilot period.
