圣贝纳迪诺麦当劳餐厅室内游乐区附近起火，消防员约一小时扑灭
10月9日（周五），圣贝纳迪诺市北部第40街200号街区一家麦当劳餐厅突发火灾，火势从室内游乐区（PlayPlace）附近燃起，浓烟一度充满整个餐厅，大量烟雾从屋顶涌出。圣贝纳迪诺县消防局出动多路消防员，从建筑外部、屋顶和室内三面夹击，约一小时后将大火扑灭。
据县消防局在社交平台发布的通报，消防员到场时发现室内游乐区上方有轻微烟雾，火势“在一面外墙内部、以及天花板与屋顶之间的夹层中燃烧”。现场视频显示，餐厅内烟雾弥漫，大部分烟雾从屋顶冒出。当天内陆帝国地区正值酷热天气，消防员顶着高温作业。
县消防局在通报中特别提到这起火灾的特殊意义：“在这座以麦当劳发源地闻名的城市里，我们的消防员赶赴的是社区中最具辨识度的名字之一。”1940年，麦当劳兄弟理查德与莫里斯正是在圣贝纳迪诺市开设了全球第一家麦当劳餐厅。
据报道，火灾中没有平民受伤，一名消防员因“高温相关不适”被送往医院。火灾原因仍在调查中，麦当劳方面尚未就此事发表评论。

Fire Erupts Near PlayPlace at San Bernardino McDonald's; Crews Knock It Down in About an Hour
On Friday, October 9, a McDonald's restaurant in the 200 block of 40th Street on the north end of San Bernardino caught fire, with flames erupting near the indoor PlayPlace. Thick smoke filled the restaurant, pouring from the roof. San Bernardino County Fire crews attacked the blaze from the outside, the roof, and the interior, extinguishing it in about an hour.
According to the department's social media post, firefighters found light smoke above the indoor playground area, with the fire "burning inside an exterior wall and between the ceiling and the roof." Video from the scene showed the restaurant chock-full of smoke. Crews battled the blaze amid sweltering heat in the Inland Empire.
The department noted the incident's special significance: "In the city known as the birthplace of McDonald's, the response brought firefighters to one of the most recognizable names in the community." In 1940, McDonald brothers Richard and Maurice opened the world's first McDonald's restaurant in San Bernardino.
No civilians were injured, according to officials. One firefighter was taken to a hospital for a heat-related issue. The cause of the fire remains under investigation, and McDonald's has not commented.
