华盛顿——美国国务卿马尔科·鲁比奥10月12日就赤道几内亚国庆日发表声明，向该国人民致以祝贺。
声明指出，今年是赤道几内亚独立58周年，也是美国与赤道几内亚建交50周年。鲁比奥表示，两国经济联系正通过包括关键矿产合作备忘录（MOU）在内的安排不断深化，美方期待继续拓展双边合作。赤道几内亚位于非洲中西部，是石油生产国，首都为马拉博。

Rubio Congratulates Equatorial Guinea on 58th Independence Anniversary, Notes Critical Minerals MOU
WASHINGTON — Secretary of State Marco Rubio on October 12 congratulated Equatorial Guinea on its national day, marking the country's 58th independence anniversary and 50 years of diplomatic relations with the United States.
Rubio said economic ties between the two countries are deepening, including through a critical minerals memorandum of understanding, and that the United States looks forward to further expanding cooperation. Equatorial Guinea, an oil-producing nation in Central Africa, has its capital at Malabo.
