RANCHO PALOS VERDES, Calif. — The City of Rancho Palos Verdes is seeking public input on how to use its fiscal year 2026–27 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding, estimated at about $150,000. A public meeting on community service priorities will be held October 14 at 7 p.m. at Fred Hesse Jr. Community Park, 29301 Hawthorne Blvd.
Under federal rules, public services are capped at 15 percent of the grant (roughly $20,000); other eligible categories include public facility improvements and housing rehabilitation. Written comments are due by October 14 to [email protected], and residents can call (310) 544-5307 for details. CDBG is a federal HUD program that funds community projects benefiting low- and moderate-income residents.
The City said the priorities residents raise at the meeting will shape its final funding recommendations.
