哥伦布市迎来NWSL扩军球队：玛丽·谢普罗执掌2028赛季商务运营
当地时间10月12日，哥伦布市女子职业足球迎来重要进展：玛丽·谢普罗（Mary Shepro）被任命为“哥伦布NWSL 2028”商务运营总裁，将负责筹建这支计划于2028赛季亮相的美国国家女子足球联赛扩军球队。
根据任命，谢普罗将全面搭建新球队的商务体系：组建管理团队、打造球队品牌、建设商业运营，具体涵盖票务销售、企业合作、市场营销、球迷互动、社区项目、场馆设施以及比赛日体验等各个环节，为扩军球队的首个赛季做好准备。
与此同时，谢普罗继续兼管哥伦布机员队（Columbus Crew）的商务业务。她直接向哈斯拉姆体育集团总裁大卫·詹金斯汇报工作。

Columbus Lands NWSL Expansion Club: Mary Shepro to Lead Business Operations for 2028 Season
Columbus women's professional soccer took a major step forward on October 12, 2026, as Mary Shepro was named President of Business Operations for Columbus NWSL 2028, the National Women's Soccer League expansion club set to begin play in the 2028 season.
Shepro will build the new club's business operations from the ground up: establishing its staffing structure, developing its brand and running its commercial operations, spanning ticket sales, corporate partnerships, marketing, fan engagement, community programs, facilities and matchday experiences.
She will continue to oversee the business of the Columbus Crew (MLS) while preparing the expansion club for its inaugural season, reporting to Haslam Sports Group President David Jenkins.
Columbus is already a professional soccer stronghold, with the Crew playing at Lower.com Field; the NWSL club will give the city top-tier men's and women's teams. Haslam Sports Group also owns the NFL's Cleveland Browns. (Source: thewomenweadmire.com, October 12, 2026)
