10月11日（周日）在北卡康科德夏洛特赛车场（Charlotte Motor Speedway）举行的NASCAR杯赛美国银行400（Bank of America 400），上演了赛道66年历史上第二接近的一次终点冲线：乔·吉布斯车队（Joe Gibbs Racing）的蔡斯·布里斯科（Chase Briscoe）驾驶19号丰田赛车，以0.029秒的微弱优势力压队友克里斯托弗·贝尔（Christopher Bell）夺冠。
决胜时刻发生在最后一圈：出4号弯时，两辆吉布斯丰田赛车发生轻微碰撞，布里斯科的车身一度打横，但他保住了领先位置率先冲线。车队老板、85岁的乔·吉布斯（Joe Gibbs）赛后坦言，看着自己两辆赛车争冠是他"最紧张的时刻"。

0.029 Seconds! NASCAR Charlotte Delivers Second-Closest Finish in Track's 66-Year History
Sunday's NASCAR Cup Series Bank of America 400 at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, N.C., produced the second-closest finish in the track's 66-year history: Joe Gibbs Racing's Chase Briscoe, in the No. 19 Toyota, edged teammate Christopher Bell by 0.029 seconds.
The decisive moment came on the final lap: coming out of turn 4, the two Gibbs Toyotas banged together and Briscoe's car went sideways, but he held the narrow edge to the checkered flag. Team owner Joe Gibbs, 85, admitted afterward that watching his own two cars battle for the win is when he gets "most nervous."
It is Briscoe's first back-to-back Cup Series victory and the eighth Cup win of his career. The win moved him to fourth in the Chase standings, 65 points behind leader Kyle Larson.
The race was dramatic early too: near the end of Stage 1, Alex Bowman lost control and slammed into Bubba Wallace, collecting William Byron — all three retired from the race but walked away unhurt. The top 10: Briscoe, Bell, Ryan Blaney, Josh Berry, Denny Hamlin and others.
Four races remain in the NASCAR postseason, with the series heading to the Phoenix short track next. For drivers behind in points, every race is now must-win.
