圣路易斯市邀居民为 Green Line 快速公交提意见，10月举办三场说明会
圣路易斯，密苏里州——据《圣路易斯阿古斯报》（St. Louis Argus）10月8日报道，圣路易斯市政府正就规划中的南北向快速公交线路（Green Line）设计方案征求居民意见，10月内将举办三场说明会，其中两场为线下、一场为线上。
据报道，Green Line 全长超过11英里，北起 Goodfellow Boulevard 与 Natural Bridge Avenue 交界处（圣路易斯市与圣路易斯县交界），南至南圣路易斯 Meramec Street 与 Jefferson Avenue 交界处。规划方案包括公交专用道、公交优先信号灯以及更大、更安全的车站，目标是让公交乘客在路上优先通行、缩短候车时间。
10月共安排三场说明会。首场线下说明会定于10月19日下午5点在 Sidney Street 的 RUNG for Women 举行。居民可就家或工作地点附近的站点提问，并对行车道、路边停车位和车站设计发表意见；无法到场的居民可参加线上说明会，或联系各自的市议员。市政府网站公布了其余场次的日期与线上链接。
资金来源问题也在讨论中：市议会预算与公共雇员委员会正在审议第14选区市议员 Rasheen Aldridge 提出的一项法案，提议就是否将原定用于南北向 MetroLink 的半分之一销售税重新分配给 Green Line 及其他公共交通项目进行全市公投。
St. Louis Seeks Public Input on Green Line Bus Rapid Transit at October Open Houses
ST. LOUIS, Mo. — The City of St. Louis is asking residents to weigh in on the design of its planned north-south Bus Rapid Transit line, known as the Green Line, with a series of open houses this month, the St. Louis Argus reported on Oct. 8.
According to the report, the Green Line would run more than 11 miles, from the St. Louis–St. Louis County border at Goodfellow Boulevard and Natural Bridge Avenue to the intersection of Meramec Street and Jefferson Avenue in south St. Louis. Plans call for dedicated bus lanes, special stoplights and larger, safer stations, with the goal of putting riders first on the road and cutting wait times.
Three open houses are scheduled for October: two in person and one virtual. One in-person session is set for Oct. 19 at 5 p.m. at RUNG for Women on Sidney Street. Residents can comment on travel lanes, on-street parking and station designs, ask questions about stops near their homes or workplaces, or share feedback through the virtual session or their alderperson. The city's website lists the other dates and the virtual link.
A funding question is also in play: the Board of Aldermen's Budget and Public Employees Committee is considering a proposed ordinance from 14th Ward Alderman Rasheen Aldridge that would put a citywide vote on whether to reallocate the half-cent sales tax dedicated to a north-south MetroLink to the Green Line and other mass transit initiatives.
