匹兹堡市星光大道10月13日迎10位新入选者，马里奥·勒米厄将出席仪式
据《匹兹堡杂志》（Pittsburgh Magazine）10月8日报道，匹兹堡星光大道（Pittsburgh Walk of Fame）将于2026年10月13日（星期二）上午10点30分举行入选仪式，为10位新入选的杰出人物揭幕纪念星形地砖。仪式地点在匹兹堡 Strip District 的 Terminal 外、小曼街（Smallman Street）上，全程约一小时，免费向公众开放。
本届10位入选者分别是：体育解说员、“恐怖毛巾”（Terrible Towel）创始人迈伦·科普（Myron Cope），舞蹈家、编舞家玛莎·葛兰姆（Martha Graham），摄影师查尔斯·“蒂尼”·哈里斯（Charles “Teenie” Harris），匹兹堡钢人队名将、社区领袖弗朗哥·哈里斯（Franco Harris），企业家亨氏（H. J. Pittsburgh Walk of Fame to Induct 10 New Honorees on October 13; Mario Lemieux to Attend Ceremony
According to Pittsburgh Magazine, the Pittsburgh Walk of Fame will hold an induction ceremony at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, unveiling star markers for 10 new honorees. The one-hour ceremony takes place outside the Strip District Terminal on Smallman Street and is open to the public.
This year's honorees are: sportscaster and creator of the Terrible Towel Myron Cope; dancer and choreographer Martha Graham; photographer Charles "Teenie" Harris; Pittsburgh Steeler and civic leader Franco Harris; entrepreneur H. J. Heinz; actress and singer Shirley Jones; Pittsburgh Penguins player, owner and philanthropist Mario Lemieux; composer Henry Mancini; actor Jimmy Stewart; and inventor and industrialist George Westinghouse. Lemieux is scheduled to appear at the ceremony, while representatives will accept the honor on behalf of the nine other inductees.
"Everyone involved in creating this visitor attraction is delighted with the choice of these 10 honorees," said Nancy Polinsky Johnson, founder and executive director of the nonprofit Pittsburgh Walk of Fame, in a release. "This dynamic group really represents the diversity of the talented people who have come out of southwestern Pennsylvania and made a noteworthy mark on American culture. And that's what this walk is designed to celebrate."
The granite markers were placed in the Smallman Street sidewalk on October 5 by workers from Rycon Construction of Pittsburgh and Rome Monument of Rochester. Each stone is embedded with a bronze star and narrative plaque cast by Matthews Architectural Products of Pittsburgh. Smallman Street will be closed from 17th to 21st streets during the ceremony, which will feature a performance by the River City Brass. Local stone company Armina Stone donated the granite for the Walk of Fame welcome sign; founder and CEO Emre Basman said the company is proud to help celebrate people from Pittsburgh who have made an impact on the nation.
The first 10 Pittsburghers — George Benson, Nellie Bly, Andrew Carnegie, Rachel Carson, Roberto Clemente, Michael Keaton, Fred Rogers, Jonas Salk, Andy Warhol and August Wilson — were inducted last year.
