尔湾 Casa Teresa 50周年慈善晚宴10月24日登场，目标筹款25万美元
服务困境孕妇半个世纪的橙县非盈利机构 Casa Teresa，将于10月24日（周六）晚在尔湾凯悦酒店（Hyatt Regency Irvine，17900 Jamboree Road）举行50周年慈善晚宴，目标筹款25万美元，用于延续庇护、个案管理、教育与职业培训等核心项目。
Casa Teresa 由尼尔与莎莉·沙利文夫妇（Neill and Sally Sullivan）于1976年创办，最初只是一栋八单元小楼，专门收容孤身无援的孕妇，后迁至橙市现址并不断扩展。如今机构开设五个住宿项目，提供食宿与基本生活保障、一对一社工服务、育儿与生活技能课程、职业发展辅导和心理治疗，帮助女性走出无家可归与药物滥用的循环、重获自立。
根据机构最新年报，过去一年 Casa Teresa 共服务157位女性、儿童与婴儿，并为208位“毕业生”提供后续支持。首席执行官丽莎·伍德（Lisa Wood）说：“50年来，Casa Teresa 一直是身处极端困境的女性找到安全、关怀、希望和改变人生的地方。这场周年庆不仅是对走过的路的致敬，更是向勇敢走进我们大门的母亲们、向始终相信我们的社区致敬。我们正在为下一代筑起长久改变的基业。”

Casa Teresa 50th Anniversary Gala Set for October 24 in Irvine, Aiming to Raise $250,000
Casa Teresa, the Orange County nonprofit that has served women in crisis for half a century, will hold its 50th Anniversary Gala on Saturday, October 24, at the Hyatt Regency Irvine (17900 Jamboree Road), aiming to raise $250,000 to sustain its shelter, case management, education, and career programs.
Founded in 1976 by Neill and Sally Sullivan, Casa Teresa began as an eight-unit building serving pregnant women who were alone and without support, later moving to its current Orange location and expanding steadily. Today it runs five residential programs offering shelter and basic necessities, individualized case management, education, parenting and life-skills classes, career development, and therapeutic support — helping women break cycles of homelessness and addiction and become self-reliant.
In its most recent annual report, Casa Teresa said it served 157 women, children, and babies over the past year while continuing to support 208 alumnae. "For 50 years, Casa Teresa has been a place where women facing extraordinarily difficult circumstances have found safety, compassion, hope, and the opportunity to transform their lives," said CEO Lisa Wood. "This anniversary is not only a celebration of how far we have come — it is a tribute to the courageous mothers who have walked through our doors and to the community that continues to believe in them. Together, we are building a legacy of lasting change for generations to come."
