帕姆代尔市10月9日晚约7时在20街西40836街区发生致命行人车祸，一名行人被一辆白色现代Genesis轿车撞击，洛县消防到场后宣布其当场身亡。县法医随后确认死者为77岁的康塞普西翁·阿特金斯。加州公路巡警称，事故原因仍在调查。事发后20街西双向封闭逾五小时以便取证。
Pedestrian Crash on 20th Street West in Palmdale Kills 77-Year-Old; Road Closed Both Ways for Over Five Hours
A fatal pedestrian crash occurred in Palmdale at about 7 p.m. on October 9 in the 40836 block of 20th Street West, where a pedestrian was struck by a white Hyundai Genesis. Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel declared the pedestrian dead at the scene. The county medical examiner later identified the victim as Concepcion Atkins, 77. The California Highway Patrol said the cause of the crash remains under investigation. Both directions of 20th Street West were closed for more than five hours during the investigation.
