Illinois Opens $1.8 Million for Local Food Infrastructure Grants
Illinois Governor JB Pritzker and the Illinois Department of Agriculture announced on October 8 that $1.8 million is available through the Local Food Infrastructure Grants program. The funding can support refrigerated vehicles, livestock processing, community kitchens and other projects that strengthen local and regional food supply chains and expand access to Illinois-grown food.
