Idaho General Fund Revenue Beats Forecast by $90.3 Million in First Quarter
Governor Brad Little said October 9 that Idaho General Fund revenue exceeded the forecast by $90.3 million, or 6.8%, in the first quarter of fiscal 2027, according to the September revenue report, with September alone $39 million above forecast and income tax withholding up 20% year over year. The governor said the growth shows Idahoans are working and businesses are hiring, but the state must remain disciplined and focus spending on priorities that matter most to residents.
