恐怖片导演 Mike Flanagan 10 月 9 日在纽约漫展 Blumhouse 单元上，首次发布了《驱魔人》系列新作《The Exorcist: Martyrs》的预告片。该片定于明年 3 月 12 日上映，由斯嘉丽·约翰逊饰演警探 Julie Miller——13 年前她终结了撒旦连环杀手 Father Sunday 的恐怖统治，如今一名新杀手在教堂地下墓室用男孩的血写下她的名字，把她重新拖回黑暗。

'The Exorcist: Martyrs' Debuts Trailer at New York Comic Con, Set for March 12 Release
Horror filmmaker Mike Flanagan unveiled the first trailer for 'The Exorcist: Martyrs' at Blumhouse's New York Comic Con panel on Oct. 9. The film, set for release on March 12, stars Scarlett Johansson as detective Julie Miller, who 13 years ago ended the reign of satanic serial killer Father Sunday — until a new killer scrawls her name in blood in a church crypt and drags her back into the darkness.
Flanagan promised the film will be the scariest he has ever made and said it is unlike any other 'Exorcist' entry, taking the series in a completely different direction. The 'Kinderman' name on Johansson's badge sparked speculation about a link to George C. Scott's detective in 1990's 'The Exorcist III,' though Flanagan did not confirm it.
