Alaska DOT Seeks Public Input on Draft 2027-2030 Transportation Plan
The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities held a virtual public meeting on October 6 on the draft 2027-2030 Statewide Transportation Improvement Program, which covers roads, ferries, transit systems, trails and safety enhancements. The draft is open for public review and comment from September 14 through October 29, 2026, and the department encourages Alaskans to share input online, by email, voicemail or text so investments reflect community priorities.
