Magnitude 3.2 Earthquake Strikes Near Signal Hill; No Immediate Damage Reported
The U.S. Geological Survey reported a magnitude 3.2 earthquake near Signal Hill at about 12:44 a.m. on October 9. The epicenter was located about 1.1 miles southwest of Signal Hill, at a depth of about 12.3 kilometers. Local media reported no immediate injuries or property damage following the tremor.
