Costa Mesa: Council to Rehear Ohio House Appeal on October 20
The Costa Mesa City Council has agreed to rehear the Ohio House appeal on October 20 in a de novo review of its earlier decision. The case concerns a reasonable-accommodation request by Ohio House, a sober-living home at 115 E. Wilson Street; the city previously revised its related policies. A resident at the meeting asked for a transparent process and whether the case could lead to changes in the city's sober-living ordinances citywide. The city attorney said that, apart from the already-revised ordinance, she could not comment on whether other ordinances may change in the future.
