Preseason: Lakers Beat Kings 111-105 Behind Dončić and Reaves' 57 Combined
The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Sacramento Kings 111-105 in NBA preseason action, with Luka Dončić and Austin Reaves combining for 57 points. Preseason results do not count toward the regular-season standings, but for the Lakers the bigger story is how the new rotation is coming together — lineups, late-game roles and second-unit continuity are all being tested. As opening night approaches, the team's defensive consistency will be the key thing to watch. Photo: inside the Lakers' home arena (file photo).
