肯塔基东部获逾2200万振兴资金 燃气供水医疗齐投
肯塔基州州长办公室10月9日宣布，州长贝希尔（Beshear）与联邦众议员哈尔·罗杰斯（Hal Rogers）在科宾（Corbin）举行的SOAR峰会上宣布，通过AMLER计划向肯塔基东部投放超过2,200万美元经济振兴资金。
较大项目包括：莱斯利县（Leslie County）400万美元以上，用于铺设35,000线性英尺燃气管线，惠及12家企业、100多户家庭与6所学校、教堂；伦敦市（London）350万美元建设Wilderness Road活动中心，预计两年吸引65,000名访客；约翰逊县（Johnson County）学校290万美元；AdventHealth Manchester医院276万美元，引进Da Vinci 5手术机器人，第一年预计服务约360名患者。
其余项目包括：埃利奥特县（Elliott County）急救服务250万美元、坎伯兰（Cumberland）供水220万美元、莱彻县（Letcher County）供水215万美元、Booneville 164万美元、派克县（Pike County）60万美元。另有2,570万美元BEAD宽带资金，覆盖12个县、3,000多户家庭。
州长办公室称，2026年肯塔基州AMLER计划共批准14笔、总额超过3,500万美元，而收到的申请多达112份、申请总额2.68亿美元，竞争相当激烈。这批资金旨在为煤矿衰退后的肯塔基东部山区补上燃气、供水、宽带与医疗等基础设施短板。

Eastern Kentucky Lands $22M-Plus in Revitalization Grants
Kentucky Governor Beshear and U.S. Rep. Hal Rogers announced more than $22 million in AMLER economic-revitalization funding for Eastern Kentucky at the SOAR Summit in Corbin, the governor's office said Oct. 9.
The largest awards include more than $4 million for Leslie County to install 35,000 linear feet of gas line serving 12 businesses, over 100 households, and six schools and churches; $3.5 million for the city of London's Wilderness Road event center, expected to draw 65,000 visitors over two years; $2.9 million for Johnson County schools; and $2.76 million for AdventHealth Manchester to acquire a Da Vinci 5 surgical robot projected to serve about 360 patients in its first year.
Other awards include $2.5 million for Elliott County emergency services, $2.2 million for Cumberland water, $2.15 million for Letcher County water, $1.64 million for Booneville, and $600,000 for Pike County. A separate $25.7 million in BEAD broadband funding will reach more than 3,000 households across 12 counties.
For 2026 overall, Kentucky's AMLER program approved 14 grants totaling more than $35 million, against 112 applications seeking $268 million. The funding targets long-standing infrastructure gaps — gas, water, broadband, and health care — in the state's eastern coal country.
