Texas Free College Application Week Opens Oct. 12 With Fees Waived at Public Colleges
Texas Governor Greg Abbott is promoting Free College Application Week: from Oct. 12 to 18, Texas residents who apply to state public colleges and universities through ApplyTexas will have their application fees waived. For students applying to several schools at once, per-school application fees add up, and the free week helps ease that burden. Students aiming for Texas public colleges may want to prepare transcripts and other materials in advance and submit during the free week; each school's specific requirements remain as officially published.
