蒙大拿州周末迎大幅降温，低海拔地区也可能降雪
据Men's Journal报道，大瀑布城国家气象局10月8日预报，蒙大拿州部分地区周末将大幅降温，低海拔地区也可能降雪。
预报员表示，对10月10日至11日周末“低海拔降雪的信心增强，尤其是在落基山前缘与 Highwoods 之间、靠近加拿大边境一带”。包括蒂顿山口和 Showdown 在内的山区降雪可达3至6英寸以上。周日最高气温预计仅30多至40出头华氏度。
气象局称这是“本季首次具有广泛影响的显著降雪，周六晚至下周初”，气温将剧烈波动——周五80华氏度，周六降至40多华氏度。
官员提醒出行者做好山区山口冬季驾驶准备，并随时关注预报更新。
Montana Braces for Weekend Snow, Possibly at Lower Elevations, NWS Says
The National Weather Service in Great Falls on October 8 forecast a sharp weekend cooldown with snow possible even at lower elevations across parts of Montana, Men's Journal reported.
Forecasters expressed "increased confidence of low-elevation snow, especially between the Rocky Mountain Front and the Highwoods towards the Canadian border" for the weekend of October 10-11. Mountain areas including Teton Pass and Showdown could see 3 to 6 or more inches. Sunday highs were expected to reach only the upper 30s to low 40s.
The service called it the "first significant, widespread-impactful snowfall of the season late Saturday through early next week," with a dramatic temperature swing — from 80 degrees Friday to the 40s Saturday.
Officials advised travelers to prepare for winter driving conditions in mountain passes and to monitor updates as the storm system develops.
