华盛顿特区七月致命肇事逃逸案告破
华盛顿特区大都会警察局重大车祸调查组10月7日宣布，7月一宗致命肇事逃逸案的嫌疑人已被逮捕。46岁、无固定住所的马文·博尼利亚·马丁内斯于10月7日被贩拿归案，并被控二级谋杀罪。
这宗命案发生在7月27日凌晨约12时45分。特区第五警区警员接报赶到东北区布莱登斯堡路与南达科他大道路口附近，发现一辆SUV冲出路面、驶入路旁公园，撞倒一名行人后，司机弃车步行逃离现场。死者随后被确认为来自马里兰州劳雷尔市的45岁女子莎娜·巴特尔。
Arrest Made in July's Fatal D.C. Hit-and-Run
The Metropolitan Police Department's Major Crash Unit announced that Marvin Bonilla Martinez, 46, of no fixed address, was arrested on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, pursuant to a D.C. Superior Court arrest warrant and charged with second-degree murder in connection with a July hit-and-run crash that killed a Maryland woman in Northeast Washington.
The fatal crash occurred at approximately 12:45 a.m. on Monday, July 27, 2026, when Fifth District officers responded to the intersection of Bladensburg Road and South Dakota Avenue in Northeast D.C. Officers located an adult woman suffering from serious injuries in an adjacent park; she was pronounced dead at the scene. She was subsequently identified as 45-year-old Shana Battle of Laurel, Maryland.
