管理3.6万亿美元资产的Capital Group获ADGM牌照 在阿布扎比设首个中东办公室
全球最大主动投资管理机构之一Capital Group 10月7日宣布，已获得阿布扎比全球市场（ADGM）金融服务监管局颁发的金融服务许可，可在ADGM内从事交易、投资管理与分销业务。公司管理的资产规模达3.6万亿美元。
这一牌照是Capital Group长期布局中东的下一步：公司今年5月已宣布计划在阿布扎比设立首个中东办公室，并已从北美、欧洲与亚洲调入员工，把投资、运营与客户服务能力搬到当地，本地团队规模预计随业务增长继续扩充。
Capital Group阿布扎比办公室负责人Benno Klingenberg-Timm表示，在阿布扎比建立受监管的存在，让公司更贴近客户与中东的投资机会；他把此次开设与公司1989年开设新加坡办公室相提并论，称其反映了对该地区长期增长的信心。
全球资管巨头排队进驻ADGM，是阿布扎比与迪拜争夺区域金融中心地位的最新注脚。对在阿联酋从事财富管理、基金分销与金融科技的华人从业者，国际机构的本地化招聘与合规岗位增加，是最直接的行业信号。
Capital Group Secures ADGM Licence for First Middle East Office in Abu Dhabi
Capital Group, one of the world's largest active investment managers with $3.6 trillion in assets under management, announced on October 7 that it has secured a Financial Services Permission from the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), authorising it to conduct trading, investment management and distribution activities within ADGM.
The licence is the next phase of the firm's long-term commitment to the region, following its May 2026 announcement of plans to establish its first Middle East office in Abu Dhabi. The firm has since relocated associates from North America, Europe and Asia, bringing investment, operational and client-facing expertise onshore, with local headcount expected to grow over time.
Benno Klingenberg-Timm, head of the Abu Dhabi office, said a regulated presence brings the firm closer to clients and to investment opportunities across the Middle East. He compared the opening to the firm's Singapore office in 1989, reflecting confidence in the region's long-term growth.
Global asset managers queueing into ADGM is the latest chapter in Abu Dhabi's financial-centre build-out alongside Dubai. For Chinese professionals in UAE wealth management, fund distribution and fintech, the localisation of global firms translates directly into hiring and compliance roles.
