弹劾审判深挖银行账户：检方称莎拉夫妇巨额资金与申报收入不符
10月7日，菲律宾副总统莎拉·杜特尔特弹劾审判继续围绕第二条条款（不明财产）举证。据Philstar对当日庭审的梳理，检方以银行与税务记录为核心，逐项比对莎拉与其丈夫马纳塞斯·卡皮奥的资金规模与其申报收入，主张两人名下数以百万计的资金无法由合法收入解释。
这一阶段的证词与此前数日的土地登记、反洗钱证词相互拼接：检方先以房产登记证明申报缺漏，再以银行流水与企业记录证明资金规模，最后将由法务会计专家汇总成完整的“不明财产”图景。庭审中，参议员法官多次就账户的开设时间、资金来源与申报年份发问，显示法庭正按“逐笔核对”的节奏推进。
辩方的策略是逐点拆解：质疑检方取得银行记录的程序、质疑部分账户与莎拉本人的关联性，并强调夫妇二人的企业经营收入有据可查。莎拉本人多次重申无任何不当行为，并把审判定性为政治打压。
这场自7月开始的审判已进入第14周。按照检方安排，法务会计专家亚历山大·卡布雷拉将作为最后证人出庭，把此前所有财务证词汇总为一个总数字——那将是第二条条款的收官之作，也是决定参议员法官们如何投票的关键证据。
Trial Digs Into Bank Accounts: Prosecutors Say the Dutertes' Millions Do Not Match Declared Income
The impeachment trial of Vice President Sara Duterte pressed on with Article II, the unexplained-wealth charge, on October 7. Philstar's recap of the day's proceedings showed prosecutors working from bank and tax records to compare, item by item, the scale of funds held by Duterte and her husband Manases Carpio against their declared income, arguing that millions of pesos cannot be explained by lawful earnings.
The testimony dovetailed with earlier days: land-registry evidence on declaration gaps, anti-money-laundering testimony on flagged flows, and now bank records on scale — a sequence the prosecution designed to culminate in a forensic accounting summary. Senator-judges repeatedly asked about when accounts were opened, where funds came from and which declaration years they belonged to, signalling a court proceeding account by account.
The defense worked point by point in the other direction: challenging how the bank records were obtained, disputing the link between some accounts and Duterte herself, and insisting the couple's business income is documented. Duterte has repeatedly denied wrongdoing and cast the trial as political persecution.
Now in its 14th week, the trial is approaching the prosecution's finale: forensic analyst Alexander Cabrera is set to appear as its final witness and consolidate the financial testimony into a single total figure — the centrepiece of Article II and the evidence on which senator-judges' votes may turn.
