卡尔弗城市巴士司机遭乘客枪杀 洛县检方以谋杀罪起诉
<p>据洛杉矶县地方检察官办公室与卡尔弗城市政府10月7日消息，10月1日下午约5时，一辆卡尔弗城市巴士（Culver CityBus）行经南森蒂内拉大道（South Centinela Avenue）时发生枪击案，42岁的司机布鲁斯·罗德里格斯（Bruce Rodriguez）身中多枪不幸身亡。</p><p>检方表示，事发时司机因交通状况未能按一名乘客要求停车，该乘客涉嫌开枪后从巴士车架上取走一辆自行车离开，次日被警方逮捕。被告为何塞·安东尼奥·萨亚斯（Jose Antonio Zayas），洛杉矶居民。</p><p>检方已于10月6日提起指控，包括一项附特殊情形（针对交通运输人员）的谋杀罪、一项用枪加重情节及一项重罪犯持枪罪。被告目前不得保释，提审延至11月5日在福尔茨刑事司法中心30号法庭举行；若罪名成立，最高可判终身监禁、不得假释。案件由洛杉矶市警局抢劫凶杀组侦办，检方由重大案件组副地方检察官亚历山大·博特负责。</p><p>检方强调，指控尚待法庭审理，被告在定罪前依法推定无罪。GSM 将跟进案件后续进展。</p>
Culver City: Bus Driver Fatally Shot; LA Prosecutors Charge Passenger With Murder
<p>A Culver CityBus driver was shot and killed aboard his bus on Oct. 1, and Los Angeles County prosecutors have charged a passenger with murder, the LA County District Attorney's Office and the City of Culver City announced Oct. 7. Driver Bruce Rodriguez, 42, was shot multiple times at about 5 p.m. on South Centinela Avenue.</p><p>Prosecutors say the driver could not accommodate a stop request because of traffic; the passenger allegedly opened fire, then took a bicycle from the bus rack and left. He was arrested the next day. The defendant is Jose Antonio Zayas of Los Angeles.</p><p>Charges filed Oct. 6 include one count of murder with a special-circumstance allegation involving transportation personnel, a firearm-use allegation, and one count of felon in possession of a firearm. Zayas is held without bail, with arraignment continued to Nov. 5 in Department 30 of the Foltz Criminal Justice Center. If convicted, he faces life in prison without parole. The case is investigated by the LAPD Robbery-Homicide Division and prosecuted by Deputy District Attorney Alexander Bott of the Major Crimes Division.</p><p>Prosecutors note the charges remain allegations and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
