Apple's trade-secrets lawsuit against OpenAI hasn't reached trial, yet both sides are trading procedural fire. OpenAI's lawyers accused Apple of improperly adding new evidence; Apple fired back accusing OpenAI of the same.
Per Apple's filing (via 9to5Mac), OpenAI was entitled to object to purported new evidence but "may not include further argument on the motion" — yet used its filing to relitigate the preliminary injunction. Apple called it the "most egregious overreach," noting objections are capped at five pages while OpenAI filed nine.
